The rain is back. Time for whiskey and ramen.

By David Columbus, October 25, 2018

With the drizzle back upon us, and probably here to stay for another 6 months, now’s the time to get serious about warming them bones.

Luckily, Fubonn Marketplace is sponsoring the ultimate in fall essential feeding with Willamette Week’s Ramen and Whiskey event, on November 4th at Leftbank Annex.

Six ramen chefs and bartenders create and serve pairings to duke it out for the top spot in culinary deliciousness. Participating restaurants are: Afuri Ramen, Double Dragon, Noraneko, Boke Bowl, Kizuki, and Saucebox. In addition to snacks and drinks, there will also be demos, music, and entertainment.

Slurping encouraged.

He/Him

Ok, here’s my snapshot. I moved to Portland in October of 1998, moved for love. I’ve been a licensed real estate broker in Oregon since 2000 and would describe myself as a general practitioner helping people navigate residential, investment, and owner-user commercial markets as well as doing some residential tenant representation. My work experience has ranged from swinging a hammer to brokering Eurodollar Futures. Me and my husband and two cats live in the Overlook/Arbor Lodge neighborhood, together we have built a 20-door rental portfolio and even run a small Airbnb business. I am originally from Traverse City, MI (NW lower MI), and graduated from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, MI. My quarter-life crisis was spent crewing/hitchhiking on sailing yachts around the Caribbean, British Isles, and Mediterranean Sea for three years. My mid-life crisis was spent with my partner sailing from Portland, OR down to Mexico and hanging out for a year. I'm good with crises. I work with buyers, sellers, and tenants who are all looking to thread the housing needle.
