About Concordia
Vibrant and Peaceful
Most of the Alberta Arts District is located within Concordia, making it a vibrant area with lots of restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and events. The Northeast Portland neighborhood is named after Concordia University, a Lutheran college that opened in 1905. The scholarly, yet fun, neighborhood is also home to several great parks including Fernhill Park, one of Portland’s most expansive, with a big playground and splash area for kids, a huge dog park, and lots of grass for naps, frisbee, and picnics.
