Shannon and Mac have a love for older homes. They wanted a craftsman or four square that would give them plenty of room to raise their 2 young sons. We had been looking together to find their forever home since spring of 2017. Back then, we had a couple false starts and disappointments and ultimately they decided to put their home search on hold for a while.
Fast forward to this Spring. We got an email from Shannon saying that they were ready to start causally looking again in the Piedmont neighborhood. She had a couple homes she already wanted to check out as soon as possible. We all hustled with excitement to go look at them but both were not what they were looking once we got inside. That same weekend, got a call from Shannon that they had stopped by an open house in Piedmont and it was perfect! Elated for them, we immediately got to work helping them craft a competitive offer. With two offers on the table we knew we had to bring it, doing everything in our power to have theirs be the offer the Sellers would choose.
We were on pins and needles waiting to hear the Sellers decision. After a few hours we got the great news, our offer was chosen! Mac & Shannon were ecstatic, you could hear the joy in their voices. Next, they asked how quickly do you think we could list our current house? “As quickly as possible”, we said! Buying and selling homes at the same time has it’s own challenges but with our team to support them, we got it done! We negotiated overlapping possession dates so Mac and Shannon will have all the time they need to make the move from one house to the other without too much stress. The new backyard has plenty of room for them to put a fire pit in just like the one they had in their other backyard. Enjoy!
