The Perfect Date on Division Street

By Living Room Realty, July 22, 2020

It’s Friday morning and you have a half day at work. You’re panicking because you said you would be done with work by 1:00, but it’s 12:30 and you still haven’t picked out an outfit, showered, or even decided what you even wanted to do?

Home cooked meal? Movies? Long walk on the beach? AHHH!

Instead of watching a 2 hour movie where you have to awkwardly sit in silence, why don’t you first take them to Stumptown Coffee Roasters, grab some iced coffee, and take a walk around Mt. Tabor? Ask them how their work week went and how they’re feeling? Catch up and reconnect.

After that, you all will probably be hungry. You ask them what they’re in the mood for and they reply, “I don’t know, anything works for me!?”

“Okay no problem! What about take-out from Pizzicato Pizza? Oh you’re not craving pizza? No problem!”

Walk 5 more minutes down Division and we see Petite Provence Boulangerie & Pâtisserie. “Not a brunch person? No problem!”

Walk a minute or two more and there’s Kim Jong Grillin! “You love Korean food? Awesome, me too!!!” Even though it may be hard to find a place you both agree on, nothing is more convenient than having a lot of options all on one street for an indecisive date!

After the date, you can head 5 – 10 minutes down to Salt & Straw to taste their new seasonal flavors or Pinolo Gelato for a more richer tasting dessert. Nothing beats ending the date on something cold and sweet on these hot summer days!

The best part is that all of these places are within driving and walking distance of each other since they’re on the same street! Also, they do take out! So don’t forget your masks and practice social distancing with others!
