Dream Home comes with Lullabies

By Jené DeSpain, September 25, 2020

Christopher and Bethany just had their lil one last year and were really settling into the gorgeous farm style home they had purchased just three years ago, when the news came of a job offer too good to pass up this early Summer. The catch – they would have to move out of state. They had recently accomplished some major work on the house, begging the question: Would it make sense to sell so soon after buying? They were willing to give it a try, hoping for the right buyers to fall in love with their home sweet home.

Chris and Hillary were just celebrating the wonderful news of their pregnancy when they came to me looking for a home to move into. With a baby on the way, they were ready to take the leap into becoming first time home owners. They were flexible on location, but hoped to find something in SE with an extra large yard for their dogs. We looked at a variety of adorable places, but immediately felt the spark when we saw the farm house on a double lot with a creek running just below the property. Chris and Hillary were the perfect match for Christopher and Bethany! They saw all of the potential the sellers had put into the home and couldn’t wait for the joy of expanding upon their dream plans. While there were a number of hoops to jump through, we all worked together beautifully as a team and made it to the finish line today!

Christopher and Bethany surprised Chris and Hillary with the sweetest gift – a dream bassinet for their lil one on the way. The biggest of Congratulations to both of these incredible families. C & H, I’m delighted to have been your agent on such a monumental life step. I can’t wait to come visit and sing lullabies while rocking the cradle over afternoon visits in the garden with you three. ♥︎
