As many Portland homes were built decades ago, an odd sized or shaped room is not that uncommon to find. Classic Bungalows, Tudors, Capecods, Craftmans, and more can often have sweet little rooms tucked in the corners of an upstairs (what once was possibly an attic) level. While these spaces can become the most amazing walk-in closets, offices, creative space, workout/meditation nook, it can be challenging to showcase the variety of options to buyers.
Styling and Staging are one of the many, many joys I adore about my job as a REALTOR®. Creating a vision, a feel, a lifestyle through the design brought into the house can be a magnificent opportunity to feature the very best of that home to the market. I have a very hands on approach for the staging and styling of each of my listings. In a gorgeous French Tudor that I just listed, my client and I spoke about all of the possibilities of how we could dress the lil room in her top level. As there is a beautiful bedroom with a spacious closet across the hall, I thought it would make the cutest little nursery. She loved the idea.
If you are thinking about bringing your home to the market and would love to talk to an agent about how to make your home shine without breaking the bank, please reach out to me. I would adore coming to visit you and discovering a vision for your home to bring it into the best market-ready light.
All my best, Jené
