When I started looking at homes with my client Hayley in the fall of last year, she was focused on fixers in close-in North & Northeast Portland. She is an architect and has a great eye for potential + experience with renovations. But in my heart, I knew that she was not going to buy one of these properties. I’ve learned in my Real Estate Practice to let everyone have their process. I can usually see clearly what a buyer ‘should’ be looking for…but I like to give them the space to come to it on their own. That method feels way more natural and empowering.
One day she came to it on her own: I want a house to move into, not work on. The lightbulb went off and we found the perfect condo within a few days of searching. Everything fell in to place smoothly and I handed off the keys to an overjoyed homeowner last week. Livin’
