In the heart of the Albina District is the King neighborhood. Being one of the most walkable neighborhoods in Portland, almost anything you could want is within arms reach. On Sunday’s enjoy the family friendly farmer’s market from 10:00am – 2:00pm. The market is being held May through November and offers 25 farmers and food artisans. When you are ready to walk over and get some lunch there is so much to enjoy. You can at eat the dog-friendly Tin Shed Garden Cafe, or enjoy an açaí bowl at Carioca Bowl.
The King neighborhood also features two perfect family friendly parks, the King School Park and the Two Plum Park. Both parks are great places to bring the whole family to enjoy those beautiful sunny days.
When you are ready to go out and get some drinks or just some good food there are options for everyone. Enjoy the rooftop patio at Radio Room, get that classic dive bar feel at the Alberta Street Pub, or get some vegan eats at Bye and Bye.
Being one of Portland’s most diverse neighborhoods there is so much to explore and enjoy.

Steve has made his career based on the concept that “service comes first.”
He has helped clients buy and sell homes on both sides of the river and has a strong understanding of what it takes to negotiate in a way that allows his clients to feel that their best interests are always at the forefront of the negotiation table. He has worked with first time buyers, upsizers, downsizers and investors alike, priding himself on being able to provide well-informed advice based on the current market and leaving the final decisions up to his clients!
After moving to Portland in 2002, Steve bounced around different neighborhoods on the Eastside of Portland and grew a love for straight shots of espresso. He has now planted roots with his family in the Terra Linda neighborhood of NW Portland and is a sucker for a delicious beer on a hot, summer day from one of the many local breweries in Portland. When he’s not wearing his “Steve the REALTOR®” hat, he likes to spend time in the water with his two boys or just put on some mud boots and find some trails to explore.
