Quick to Draw in Concordia

By Living Room Realty, June 4, 2021

I was originally referred to Becca and Dan by my in-laws’ neighbors as they were freshly relocated to Portland and were on the hunt for the perfect old Portland home with lots of history and charming details. With the Concordia neighborhood being their favorite, they were quickly introduced to the fast and competitive home buying market. We transitioned our search to other neighborhoods in hopes of finding a home with the space and yard they were looking for in more of their price range. We were unfortunately beaten out a few times by the infamous overbidding wars but were still persistent on looking at as many homes in different neighborhoods as we could. However, one day I noticed a colleague of mine had a listing in Concordia that looked extremely promising. Though the home was built in 2005, it still offered gorgeous light throughout, it was in great condition and it had a really open layout versus some of the other older Portland homes’ quirkier layouts we were previously seeing. I reached out to my colleague to see if they had insight on how high the property would go up since Becca and Dan didn’t want to see it if they would end up being beaten out and disappointed. With luck on our side, there had only been one offer to which they were going to review that evening and we had 30 minutes to tour the home and put in an offer before the technical deadline. With all the experience that Becca and Dan had accrued over the last few months on the housing market, they decided to jump quickly on this home since it was in their favorite neighborhood with only a few compromises. Becca and Dan were fortunate enough to not have to overly compete and got their dream home at a really fair price. I am beyond happy for these adorable first-time home buyers and can’t wait to see their family blossom and grow here! Welcome to Portland Becca and Dan!
