Bitter Sweet

By Living Room Realty, August 6, 2021

I met Jay several years through my now fiancé. She ranted and raved about her college friend she had met on their tennis team… I will admit I approached with a squinted eye (my love has a taste for the quirkier folk). I heard Jay’s melty English accent, followed by no doubt a snarky hilarious comment and I knew we were destined to be friends. Over the years, we’ve shared many lust affairs with handbags, TicTocs that “really understand us”, make ups and break ups, holidays and happy hours- all while expanding my culinary skills into the Vegan world. Neither Jay nor myself are particularly emotional people.. we tend to be sarcastic and dry, to the point and no bullshit- and that’s just the way we handled the sale of her home since she got an incredible opportunity to move across the country with a much deserved promotion. Joyful for her, but blue for my family- we say “not goodbye, but see you soon” to our dear friend as she enters the next chapter of her story. I’m honored to represent you, and even more so stop be called your friend. You are a true gem and a force to be reckoned with. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for you. Many bubbly cheers to you!
