All That and a Slice of Bread

By Living Room Realty, August 16, 2021

Hi, Readers!

Have I told you how much I love helping first time homebuyers? I have? Welp, let me tell you again. I love helping first time home buyers.

Chris and Kendrae came to me through clients (I also love it when that happens) looking to purchase their first home. Such an exciting time, and such an honor to be invited on the journey. Chris and Kendrae embody all that’s great about Portlanders. They’re smart, funny, crafty, creative, they walk/bike everywhere (don’t have a car!), and Kendrae loves baking. We wanted to find something with character that they could grow into, whilst having room for them to also work from home. Enter an incredible North Portland Cape Cod Bungalow listed by my friend and colleague Lauren Hurley.

This place… it’s so good! It has the most vibrant persimmon orange paint, the landscaping is so beautiful, and it has a detached structure that they plan to use for an ADU and guest room. While we had to hunt for it, and they had to write more than one offer, we ended up getting them a wonderful new home. Yay! My favorite part? Kendrae baked me a loaf of bread to say thanks. !!! Delicious!

Congrats Chris and Kendrae, high fives!
