Gahhhhh! THIS HOUSE!!!! This love story!
I consider Lauren one of my dearest friends; we’ve been through so much together I can’t even begin to explain it. I’ve seen her struggles, she’s seen mine. I’ve seen her heart open and been through love lost. I was there when she found out she was having a gorgeous baby boy, career moves and through 4 home purchases; she was there for me for my highs and when my life has been turned upside down. I’ve literally never met someone so profoundly self-aware, so outspoken for herself and her loved ones and her pure romance for history. She announced the love of her life about a year ago, she proclaimed he was perfect for her- just how perfect I now know! This week we (as a team in many aspects) pack up her memories and belongings with toddler in tow- and move across town to a gigantic home to blend families with the man of her dreams. Merging her love of photography and his joy for craftsmanship- we found a home “born” in 1926; it’s been meticulously maintained and clearly cared for. They both reveled over the binder the sellers left with pictures, historical facts and blueprints. I saw it in their eyes that they knew the entire family would properly meld and comfortably grow in this home that has held generations of memories. Giddy with joy, our offer was accepted and this week we close on what just might be the best chapter of my dear friend’s life. I wish you all of the love and joy your family can handle. You are deserving and confident, I respect you more than you will ever know for constantly rising up for yourself and taking the road less traveled. What a gem you’ve found, and I’m so honored to be part of not only your growing relationship, but the home you’re choosing to thrive it in. Cheers my loves!
