A Tranquil Setting in SW Portland

By Carrie Struss, June 1, 2023

Congratulations are in order for my client, Mike, who just got the keys to his fab new home! For the past three years, he has been going through a lengthy remodel project at his current house, and during this time, he hasn’t had a functioning kitchen. (Yikes!) Living on a busy corner in SE has brought constant activity and noise to his surroundings. So Mike called me when he decided to relocate to SW Portland, where he can enjoy a more tranquil setting amidst the trees. This move will allow him to complete all the remaining projects on his current home so he can convert it into a rental property and generate income while also improving his own living situation.

And let me tell you, Mike has found the perfect home in SW! This modern stilted house offers him beautiful views of treetops from every window, creating a serene and picturesque atmosphere. With forest trails right outside his front door, he will have easy access to nature providing the peaceful and tranquil environment he was seeking. In addition, the house is damn sexy! The stairs are numbered in case you lose your way, it has a fully operational kitchen, and the crawl space is big enough for a slip-n-slide. Welcome to your new home, Mike!
