Rachel & Alexis had outgrown their beloved family home in Beaverton & were ready to upsize. When they came to me & fellow Bridge to Portland Group team member, Genmae, they weren’t in a rush to hop into a new place but were definitely ready to roll when the right home came along that fit their specific needs.
The family was looking for a house that had the option for multi-generational living or one that had the potential to build a separate ADU on the property in the future. The search began & we saw some really fun homes, but nothing felt quite right until we stumbled upon this unicorn!
This home was designed for multi-generational living with plenty of space on each level. The main floor has the perfect layout to have a welcoming entryway & office separate from the rest of the family & noise plus a full wing of the home for main-level living. There’s also a separate upstairs built for the primary living space including a second kitchen, living room, dining room, & bedroom/baths. Not to mention a large garage & great backyard for summertime hangouts, accessible from both levels of the home.
Every house has repairs that come up during the inspection period, but sometimes there are more than others. Genmae & I were able to negotiate $25,000 in concessions to help Rachel & Alexis address repairs after closing. Because the seller had moved out of the home & the buyers were ready to move right in & coordinate with contractors, a credit in lieu of repairs completed prior to close was a win-win for everyone.
We were so excited to give Rachel & Alexis keys to their new home where they can continue to grow & thrive for years to come. This house really was this family’s perfect match & the moving trucks are ready. Welcome home Rachel, Alexis, & family!
