Road tripping up coast highway 101 wasn’t their original vacation plan. But like so many of us, Terry, Jenn and their kids had to cancel their plane tickets, and see things differently in order to keep a family vacation on the summer schedule. So they rented a van, and hit the road! They drove from San Francisco, up along the coast, stopping along the way to see the beaches, cliffs, bridges, big trees and natural beauty that the 101 is famous for. They landed in Rockaway, and stayed for over a week before heading back south, all the while falling in love with the North Oregon Coast.
Like so many of us, pandemic living had altered their way of looking at things. Working from home could be anywhere. The view out of their office window could be anything. What was their heart’s desire?
It turns out that anywhere is now the Oregon coast, the office window view is the bay, coast mountains and the breakers crashing on the beach. Their hearts’ desire is a slower pace, smaller town, natural wonder right off the porch, and a front row seat to the sunset every night.
I was very honored to help connect them to their dream home on the coast. We wish them many years of good memories and happiness in their new home.
