2020 – A new decade, an election year, and the global pandemic of Covid 19. While each of these events are having a significant impact on all of our lives, they are also playing a role in the housing market. At Living Room, we just had our 1st quarter review for Jan 1st – April 1st 2020. Our incredible team presented the following data:
Portland Metro Area Stats January 1st – April 1st 2020
Living Room Stats:
Looking at this data and learning houses are up 4% in price from 1st Quarter 2019 and are selling an average of 5 days faster affirms my on the ground experience as a local agent here in our City of Roses. As I’m helping my clients buy and sell during this 2nd quarter in every region of Portland, from the heart of SE, to out in Rock Creek, and even down in Salem, I’m noticing this uptick in market fever. With all its’ challenges, I am inspired by the commitment to service and local support we’ve been steadfastly accomplishing during 2020 within our Living Room team and from all our fellow agents across our realty community here in Portland. It’s an honor to be a member of such an incredible group of people working with passion to bring assistance, and perhaps some comfort, to our neighbors, while we collectively await to see what the rest of 2020 holds for us.
