About St. Johns
Unpretentiously Portland
On the northwest tip of Portland sits a tight-knit community with an identity all its own. It’s unpretentious, diverse, with proud blue collar roots, and cool businesses popping up. St. Johns is a short jaunt to inner Portland, but known as a “Gateway to Nature.” Nearby parks/natural areas include Pier Park, Cathedral Park, the Columbia Slough, Kelley Point Park, Pier Park, and the Smith and Bybee Wetlands. The majestic St. Johns Bridge is the only suspension bridge in the Willamette Valley, and makes the drive to Downtown Portland quite scenic. The quaint neighborhood is generally one of the more affordable areas in town. St. Johns is also home to TWO theatre pubs where you can catch a movie and enjoy a bite and a pint or two.
