I had so many conflicting ideas before and while writing this blog. I wanted it to be about me. How much I learned in the past 4 months. How much there still is to learn about real estate. All of this while dealing with the new world we live in and Covid 19. There were so many variables and difficulties to overcome related to a previous transaction of mine that greatly affected this transaction. Full disclosure regarding this home: The sellers agent, the builder, the home, the location, the inspection, the whole transaction was great and flowed with great communication by all. It was getting here, to the end, to make this deal happen on this day…of this year… that is overwhelming just thinking about it. But I digress.
This pandemic added further complications and uncertainty. There is a palpable level of stress that goes along with knowing what I know and knowing less. I can say that I know more. Not many people know that I am also a licensed and certified Emergency Department RN. I’ve trained and worked in Chicago, and I can say “I’ve seen it all”. But now I realize there is so much more to see and learn. So much to grasp and prioritize. These past few months have taught me to be thankful for what I have, to help others when able, and to take a deep breath and lean on your team for support.
This isn’t just a home. In fact, it’s a dream for my clients. It’s a new beginning and a closing of a main chapter of their lives. They did everything they could to make this happen. They even did some things they didn’t want to do and now we’re here. We did this together and I can’t thank them enough for trusting me.
