A Place to Make Mountain Memories.

By Cristen Lincoln, December 9, 2019

Kelli and Jeremy had a big house that has served at their family home, until they moved to Woodstock to be their kids school and fully engaged with the community there. They weren’t sure if they would stay in Woodstock or not, so kept the big house until they were fully decided. After adopting their 3rd child, they realized they were in Woodstock to stay, and even though the big house was a popular rental, it was a lot to manage due to it’s size and number of folks it could hold. They decided to leverage the house to 2 rentals. A small Milwaukie home, and a mountain home that they could rent as a vacation house, and also enjoy. The day we drove out to the mountain, it was sunny, but COLD. It was a very “mountain” day! Perfect to feel what it would be like out there. We looked at several places, but one stood out. The furniture was all wrong for a mountain get-away, but the kitchen was killer, and the custom bar and big fireplace with hearth just took us in. They saw past the decor, and knew it was the one. Not only that, the community has a club house and pool open during the summer! Perfect for a family with 3 kiddos, and great for guests looking for a fun summer vacation destination. As soon as it’s up and running as a rental. I’ll add the link to this blog! I highly recommend buying a vacation rental home. Make memories with your family at a special place away from home, help pay for this by renting to other vacationers, who will also make memories there! All the while, boosting your net worth through real estate. Interested in a mountain house, place in Bend or beach get-away? Let’s chat!
