It was a joy to help Neola and Tash find their forever home. As career non-profit workers, they have been giving back to the Portland community on many levels for almost 12 years – working with the Queer community at SMYRC and Basic Rights Oregon; advocating for patients at Legacy Health; facilitating racial equality with the Center of Equity and Inclusion; hosting community dinners; and tending to their local gardens. This couple has always worked with care to amplify the voices of others in their community and bring warmth and light to their friends and family.
They saw their own warmth and light reflected in this beautiful home in SE Portland! They loved it the minute they saw the large kitchen where they could imagine making meals for friends and family, and the flowers and space in the yard were perfect for their two rescue pups – Sampson and Walter.
Now that Neola and Tash have a beautiful new home that can be their space to recharge, I can’t wait to see the roots they put down and how they will continue to nurture the Portland Community
