First time home buyers, Amelia and Steve know how to get the job done. They are the perfect blend of enthusiasm, thoughtfulness, and tenacity.
Referred by a former client (thanks Drew!), Amelia found a home she loved on a Saturday afternoon, called me up, and we were touring it by Saturday evening.
This house was gooooood! Plenty of room for crafting, writing, and Kona, their sweet puppy. They were ready to write an offer…in theory only, because they were yet to be preapproved by a lender. With sinking hearts and cries of, “Uh oh!” they learned that an offer deadline had been set for Tuesday. Steve and Amelia thought this house would be the one that got away.
However, I connected them with a lender that always answers on weekends, is an excellent communicator, and is super efficient at getting the job done (thanks Rayko!) and………. they were preapproved by Monday.
Turns out that first home was indeed the one that got away–the multiple offers were just too crazy. But, after touring a few more weeks, Amelia and Steve fell in love with a sweet little St John’s home and WENT FOR IT!
All in–we crafted such a solid offer that the the sellers accepted and took the home off the market before the weekend was even over! Swelling hearts, big smiles, and one very happy dog. Steve and Amelia seized their opportunity and it worked out perfectly.
It really is the just the right home for them. St. John’s is teaming with new restaurants for them to try and fun events to invite friends to. Pier Park is close by and provides great running for dogs and people. Amelia and Steve’s new home has enough space for all their hobbies and with all the beautiful natural light in the living room, Kona is now a professional sunbather. Hooray for happy endings! And, hooray for Steve and Amelia!
