With their first baby on the way, Laura and Eli, needed more space than their cute little North
Portland home could offer.
They quickly sold that house in September, and began their hunt for their new family home. The race was on! Baby Silas was due to arrive just five weeks from their closing date.
It looked like it would be a snap for them to find Just what they wanted. Eli and Laura has everything in place, had cast a wide net on location, and made great effort to be available to tour every house that seemed like it could be right for them.
But, sometimes the real estate market just doesn’t cooperate with your perfect story.
In a matter of just a few weeks, Eli and Laura, had lost out on four homes, and had gone through two sale-fails. Thankfully, our story does not end here.
Ever buoyant, joyous, and enthusiastic, Eli and Laura are remarkable people. They stayed positive, kept searching, and even had a baby in the mean time.
Just a short while after welcoming Silas into our beautiful world, Laura and Eli found the home that was meant to be theirs. With plenty of room to grow, a juicy persimmon tree, and a park just across the street, this property had everything they wanted and then some.
It was absolutely worth the wait!
