Building a Real Estate Empire for Ferdinand

By Marissa Sainz, February 28, 2018

Asher gave me a call at the end of the year to discuss his real estate future.  I helped him and his wife purchase their home a few years ago and after having their first baby, Ferdinand, he was thinking bigger.  Asher wanted to begin investing in real estate to help secure a strong financial future for Ferdinand.  After discussing the different options in Portland the the surrounding areas he decided that focusing on a duplex was the way to go.

We toured the first handful of options and he could not get a remodeled St. Johns duplex out of his mind.  The duplex had been updated in 2015, had a strong rental history and was walking distance to downtown St. Johns.  We put an offer in and after some negotiation ended up with a signed contract!  After closing Asher is completing all of the work to make the units stand out in the rental market and get the best long term renters he can.  Ferdinand is only 2 years old, but I already know he will follow in his father’s footsteps in thinking big and being bold.
