Community Driven, Home Bound

By Living Room Realty, June 24, 2019

I love getting to support those who support others. My most recent clients. Paul and Kristen, are incredibly active in our community and are forces for good.
We met because our kids both go to Scott Elementary, where Kristen serves as head of the PTA. In the year that she has held that position, she has spearheaded some incredible work in bringing the community together and providing resources to learn about diversity in experiences. They have had so much success that they have even won some awards from the Oregon PTA.
Paul is the pastor of their church, Kaleo Communities, and organizes volunteers from their church to work in the community with organizations such as Hacienda CDC, a Latino Community Development Corporation that strengthens families by providing affordable housing, homeownership support, economic advancement and educational opportunities.
They also have two young kids, Addison and Wesley, and we are so glad they will be able to continue going to Scott!
Finding a home within their school district was not without its challenges, but in the end we found them the perfect remodeled bungalow with lots of charm for this charming family!
