Condo Dog Gets a Yard!

By Bonnie Roseman, February 16, 2018

Shane, no longer a condo dog, will be living large – roaming free, sunbathing and frolicking in her new back yard. Rescued from the Humane Society, she has lived near Ladd’s Addition in a condo for many years. Don’t get me wrong, she has had a posh life, but with constraints. Life on a busy street has meant donning a leash every time she went outdoors.

Shane and her mom, Susan, are moving on! Life is full of trade offs and honing in on your priorities and figuring out how to achieve your goals is the key. Owning vs. renting, “hot” neighborhood vs. tranquility, low maintenance vs. room to spread out… you’ve got to weigh your options and honor your feelings. Helping clients navigate the transitions in their lives is part of the territory, just one of the many hats of a real estate agent.

This lucky lab mix is the apple of her mom’s eye and her needs reign supreme. I can’t wait to see her off leash in her new back yard paradise, away from noisy neighbors, heavy traffic and the antics of the Pedal Loungers cycling by the old condo. Shane’s eyesight has been declining and unexpected noises have become scary for her. On to the next chapter – a house with a yard on a quiet street. Peace and tranquility.

Bender TheRealestatedog, my canine companion, and I will visit the new digs often. Dog party!!!
