Selling and buying homes with three children is a lot to manage in ‘normal’ times…add COVID, new showing protocols, lack of inventory, no childcare options….ahhhh!
Because of the low inventory level, Becca and Kyle sold their darling Summer Lake house with multiple offers right away. Then the search was really on! They wanted their next home to be the forever home, where their kids could continue to grow up, attend school with their neighborhood friends…and they could have some space for our new life of working from home and home-schooling.
After seeing about ten houses that were good, but not ‘the one’ we came upon a new listing in the hills of Beaverton – and it had a basement! And thank goodness we did…the clock was ticking for Becca and Kyle to be out of their current, sold, home!
Immediately Kyle knew he wanted this house to be theirs – Becca took her time looking closely at everything, making sure it had the open eating area for entertaining both their families, 4 bedrooms upstairs, enough storage, a play area for the kiddos. It was decided and we made an offer!
But there was another offer…even in a higher end price range in Beaverton – what a competitive market! Kyle and Becca stayed clam through negotiations, inspections, possession timelines.
The ending to this story is a happy one, and today Becca, Kyle and their kids get the keys to their forever home… <3
