Cross Country Purchase

By Lauren Hurley, February 1, 2021

Emily + Steve were ready to purchase a house in Portland, but wait, it was Covid and they were on the opposite side of the country, living in a small town in Maine. Understandably intimated at the thought of buying a home from across the country, I assured them it could be done! Buying a house can be both exciting and stressful, especially when you are doing it from 3,326 miles away. My goal: make it feel like they were actually in Portland. Emily, a Portland native, had a lay of the land. Steve, having visited many times, had a solid understanding of the city. It was up to me to bring Portland to them! A magic combination of personalized video tours, prompt & honest feedback and in-depth market knowledge empowered my out of state buyers to feel informed and in control of their home buying experience. Not only did they succeed in a multiple offer situation, they were in the driver’s seat from start to finish. There’s nothing we can’t do together, albeit low inventory, competition or 3,326 miles in between.

Curious about what a personalized video tour looks like? I’d be happy to share!
