When I started working with my clients Johnny and Casey last year we placed no fewer than eight offers on properties and were confronted with multiple offer situations each time. Each time I made the phone call to let them know they did not get accepted they were disappointed, but took the news in stride and we moved on. They had great perspective and a positive attitude about the process which was contagious and help set the tone for the relationship. By the time they decided to take a step back and rent for the year we knew it was the right decision and a time to reset.
Flash forward to earlier this year when we touched base and they said they were ready to jump back in. We started to look again and after two rejected offers we landed on a great home at the right price and magic… accepted offer! Having the right team in place and a good understanding of the process made this transaction smooth and seeing the smile on their faces when the received their key was so rewarding. The yellow brick road to home happiness was an adventure, but reminded us that attitude and perseverance pay off.
