END OF AN ERA

By Living Room Realty, January 25, 2021

Real estate is rich with experiences that bring you joy and sadness.  Sometimes they combine when you watch your past clients and dear friends move on to the next chapter in their lives.  For my friends on NE 27th, their sale brought joy, but also the sadness of knowing they were leaving Portland for Camus, Washington.  With a steady hand after a December market release my clients were rewarded with buyers that offered strong terms and January closing that would set them up for their big move.  After an incredible show stopping kitchen remodel and basement overhaul to follow, my clients handed their torch to a family who saw the amazing value in a turn-key home with a main level suite perched perfectly on one of the most picturesque streets in northeast Portland.  As I write this the realization that my friends who I once shared a community with will now be across the Columbia embracing a new chapter in their lives.  Put simply, I feel genuine excitement for them, but also a bit of sadness knowing they won’t be just blocks away.
