First Time’s a Charm

I had the privilege to represent my buyers on their first investment purchase. They settled on a great home with a full basement apartment.  Because my clients were looking for both future appreciation and immediate cash flow, finding the right property was a bit more challenging. I always enjoy working with investors, especially first-timers, even though it brings up a whole new set of challenges. Investing in real estate is a great way to build wealth, but the process is not for everyone. It’s important your buyers understand the expectations and commitment before they dive in. 

Success in real estate investing is a partnership between the agent and investor. The agent needs to not only understand the current market, but take into consideration their client’s skill set, financial situation, and future goals.   It’s not just a numbers game, it’s also crucial to evaluate each client’s individual needs closely, advise them on all their options, and of course have patience for the hunt.
