GO SPORTS TEAM!!

By Living Room Realty, June 16, 2021

I think that the COVID-19 Pandemic has put a spotlight on the way we live. Pre-COVID you could get away with a smaller house, not enough bedrooms, a small yard, lack of a pool, etc. The pandemic took any shortcomings in your living situation and crammed it in your face until you could deny it no longer. Also, when you saw how other people where living…you wanted that too.

For my clients Rhian & Tom it was a version of that. They really wanted a private, outdoor living space that was not possible in their townhome. It started with a conversation over beers a few months ago and before you know it, the townhouse is listed and the sale on the new house is about to close. Now they can watch the US Open, NBA Finals and the NFL Playoffs on the back patio even if it is raining. Yeah sports!

Jon Gould-Knight

Nobody has a crystal ball, but most projections suggest mortgage rates will stay above 6% for the foreseeable future. Even if they do drop, it’s likely to be a gradual decline, not an overnight plunge.
