Blog Buyer GRATITUDE BATTLE

GRATITUDE BATTLE

By Living Room Realty, March 5, 2019

A kid from Philly meets a kid from LA and sentiments rich with respect, gratitude and humor were slung throughout a successful home search and escrow!  When the Logans embarked on their search, a couple things became clear.  The first was that they were not your average first time home buyers.  They had the patience of saints, coupled with a genuine commitment to wait for the right house with the right amenities in the right location.  As with all carefully hatched plans, this one resulted with a home fit for the pages of American Bungalow.  We prevailed in a multiple offer situation and negotiated through several big ticket repairs to see the finish line.  A finish line that included a new roof, sewer credit, large electrical credit and diplomatic sentiments intact with the other party.  What I would refer to as a “Gratitude Battle” ensued between Scott and I as I handed them keys, gifts and met their adoring family at closing!  The Overlook Triangle has two of the kindest and coolest folks I have crossed path with for new neighbors!  I am left with gratitude towards the Logans for trusting me to help them navigate this market and find their first home!
