Just Sold In Fairview!

By Leanne Bach, September 7, 2021

I’m so excited that my friend Ari, and her family, have a home to call their own. She reached out to me a few months ago, saying that her landlords were going to sell the house. They did offer her first right of refusal, so I encouraged her and her husband to get pre-approved, have inspections and I’d do a market analysis for them to determine a fair price. The sellers had something else in mind and although the market is super hot, they just were not being realistic..especially considering the horrendous inspection report I perused. The house is in an up and coming neighborhood, but after all these years of renting it out, the owners literally did nothing to upkeep the house. The amount of deferred maintenance had take quite a toll on the property. My friends were discouraged, but now that they were pre-approved, they reached back out to me to see if I thought we could find something in their price point. My answer was a big hell-yes! Their ideal location was a little further out, due to work locations, and that played into their favor. We saw about 9 properties, made one offer and got it accepted. There is a backyard for their daughter and the chickens, a cozy living room fireplace, an open kitchen for gatherings and it’s all located on a cut-de-sac that abuts a park. I’m smiling as I write this. Congrats Ari, Nate and Stori!
