Hi Readers! Happy Friday.
Today’s installment of #myrealestatelife is about a pretty remarkable gal named Kealy. She was referred to me and was really unsure about her ability to buy, but knew it was something she wanted to do; she just wasn’t sure when or how. Kealy is a teacher at a charter school in North Portland, specializing in helping at-risk kiddos. She loves what she does and makes a huge impact in people’s lives. But, her income limited her options to buy close in. And frankly, I don’t understand that. That’s why I was super motivated to bust my ass for her and make this work.
Through the right lending program, we were able to lock in Kealy for a loan that had the rates she could afford. We went to work finding her a bungalow in St. Johns – a community she’d established herself in and didn’t want to leave.
We found a great house for her, slightly out of her price range. And I went to work. Through the power of relationship, Universal timing and also finding a home with motivated sellers, we were able to submit an under-ask offer that was accepted. The repairs she needed to see were negotiated, as were a huge chunk of her closing costs. Now, Kealy and her Mom are getting ready to plant a garden in her backyard and planning dinner parties in her awesome new home. YASSSS.
Are you getting the itch to invest in real estate but don’t think you’d qualify? Let’s chat, I’ve got some homework for you that could help you Ace this.
Till then, high fives,
