The Greenway community has been long-standing in Portland. The neighborhood is ideal for families and those who like to get out in nature. Every day you are bound to find an adventure for yourself or the whole family.
You can start your day out at Lionheart Coffee Company at 11421 SW Scholls Ferry Road, Beaverton, OR 97008. This local coffeehouse features local art, cold brew, pies, bagels, and pastries.
After your pick-me-up, you can head over to the Fanno Creek Trail. The trailhead is right on Greenway Boulevard, making it easy to find. This four-and-a-half-mile trail is great for everyone! This ADA-accessible trail, is great for running, biking, or walking (even with children)! Locals say it’s a great place to see wildlife, sightings of snakes, lizards, and birds can be seen on this trail!
While walking on the trail there are many parks that you can make a stop for.
Vista Brook Park is a four-acre park along the Fanno Creek Trail. With two playgrounds, basketballs courts, tennis courts, and even circuit training equipment, you could spend hours here. Make sure you spend time by the pong and hopefully you can spot a Pacific Tree Frog!
Camille Park is a White Oak habitat, that even has a pedestrian bridge, to put yourself right in the middle of it. The play area is nature-themed, it has play structures that are boulders, hollowed our log, and a super fun stacked log structure. This park is truly beautiful and you can even rent it out for parties, or events!
I think on any day you will have a beautiful day in Greenway.
