Newlyweds’ First offer accepted in St Helen’s!

By Living Room Realty, October 27, 2021

Brent and Leann came to me wanting a fresh new start. They had lived in Portland for many many years and were ready for that small-town feeling. They were also ready for home ownership and felt like they could get more for their money looking outside of Portland. On only our second trip out looking at homes we found this house. It had everything that was important to them: a great working kitchen with lots of counter space, a neighborhood in which to walk their dogs, a fenced yard and enough space for them to work from home…and of course room for their beloved dogs.

The sale of this home was contingent on the sellers finding a replacement property. That potentially made it a little bit more difficult for other buyers who weren’t as flexible so it had been on the market for a couple of weeks. We went in at a full-price offer and our offer was accepted! No back and forth, no other offers to compete with, just a whole lot of potential waiting to move into the home, which Brent and Leann were ok with. That is a real win in this market for buyers.

Brent and Leann just celebrated their 1st wedding anniversary and were hoping to be in the home in time to celebrate. Unfortunately the sellers took a little longer than expected to find a replacement home. The good news is that they have their entire lives ahead of them in their dream home to celebrate all life’s gifts. Congratulations and happy anniversary, lovebirds!
