When I first started working with Bonnie in helping her find a home at the coast, she made it clear that she wanted to live within easy walking distance of the ocean! Exploring the local community on foot was important to her, she wanted a slower pace from that of her city life. We toured a few homes here and there but I knew the Nedonna Beach area was a perfect zone for her. A small unincorporated branch of Rockaway Beach, Nedonna is located at the north end of town and just south of the Bar View Jetty. An easy 15 minute drive puts you north in Manzanita, surrounded by boutiques, exceptional grocers and farmers markets. Head south and you’ll soon find yourself immersed in rural farm land and a diverse ocean and river culture. Stop by Garibaldi for the freshest seafood on the coast, or continue on to Tillamook and peruse the newly developed downtown.
