Our Beloved Steve Buchert

By Living Room Realty, September 15, 2020

Our dear friend and fellow LRoom agent passed away this April.  Steve Buchert was loved by all that met him.  He had a way of touching people.

Prior to passing, Steve enlisted Chris to sell his triplex.  It was a way of looking ahead, to help lessen the burden that it might impose on his life-partner Herb.

I’d like to think that while Chris was working on this ever complicated sale that Steve was looking down from some sort of rooftop deck skirted by ocean off the Italian coastline and smiling. Steve’s smile is a devilish-joyful smile, for Steve knows the deal might be a tricky one. He didn’t wish hard work for Chris, the opposite, he wanted things to be easy and uneventful, but some deals take more work than others.  All REALTORS® know that. And now that the deal has closed, Steve is raising this glass with enthusiasm and gratitude.   He knows it’s going to be a whiskey toast for Chris — he is ready for that.

We love you and miss you Steve Buchert.  There is no like you.

Thanks for your trust dear friend.
