Amber is one of those people that just brings sunshine wherever she goes. She is usually surrounded by friends and family or her beloved cat Nova. We met nearly 6 years ago where she was taking over a job I was leaving and she saw Jason and I from the beginning of our business and wanted to invest in us from there. She continued to send us her friends and family over the years who were looking to buy a home and this year we got a honoring message that told us that she was moving back home from being out of state and wanted to use Jason and I to buy her home. Jason and I were very honored. She warned us that she needed to move quickly and we let her know we can move as quickly as she needed us to. So, once her home sold out of State and she had her pre-approval in hand to purchase her new home Jason quickly set up home tours and got her in.
Then the right home came up that had the bells and whistles that she needed to start her home journey. And you guessed it, we had to battle multiple offers. After Jason and I dug up as much information as possible to share with Amber on how we needed to craft her offer to set her apart she listened and we went to work. We came upon our offer deadline and we still hadn’t heard back, so we went to prepare Amber that in these circumstances where we don’t hear back before the deadline usually means that the offer was not accepted. So, after we checked in with the agent we received a message back to say that they sent in a counter earlier that day. Due to the wildfires and chaos of the season in which Amber was buying the email apparently did not actually send when they thought it did. We ended up receiving the counter which Amber found to be fair and we went full steam ahead into contract.
We had out inspections lined up and we gathered all the information we needed to negotiate a seller credit that Amber felt was fair. After just going through the selling process herself, she was very aware of the type of “buyer” she wanted to be in her own transaction. She was very considerate and respectful and ended up getting what she asked for in the end. So we moved towards the Apprasial.
The Apprasial journey was a wild ride indeed and when the report finally came in, it was low. Thus commenced another round of negotiation and we continued to push towards the finish line. Amber continued to keep her head up and had faith in the journey knowing that this home would be hers.
Today is closing and we are so excited for you Amber and can’t wait to see you settled and making your own special touch on your new home surrounded by all your loved ones.
Cheers to you our sunshine Queen!
