K & A came to me after making a few unsuccessful offers with another agent. They had already informed their previous agent that they were moving on when they first called me. They expressed their frustration with the market, and with being “beat out” by other offers with their last agent. I told them flat out that what they had experienced was pretty much normal for this market and their price range/criteria/desired location. That said, I also said that I firmly believed they could find, and purchase, a fantastic home if they stayed committed to doing so despite the (almost inevitable) setbacks and “losses” that came before and could come again. They didn’t end up getting the first house that we offered on together but were prepared for the disappointment and ready to keep looking. We didn’t have to look long before we found another great house and got our offer accepted. Patience and hard work paid off!! I wish K & A and their lovely family the very best in their awesome new house!
