14 months searching. Over 70 homes toured. 2 offers rejected. 1 pandemic. If ever there was an example of perseverance and patience in the home buying process, this is it.
Steve, Nancy, and Sierra are a close knit family. They were looking for a home that Sierra (a Portland resident) could live in full time, which would have room for Steve and Nancy to stay comfortably, on weekends and vacations.
As Steve and Nancy are having a few bones that are feeling a little creakier, a bedroom and bathroom on the main floor was a must. The family wanted enough space to not be in each other’s way (especially when Steve was cheering for his favorite football team), but not so big that they felt lost from each other.
Sierra has a designer’s eye, and a love for homes from the 20s and 30s. Those were the homes she gravitated towards; with all those beautiful period touches. And, that is the home they got!
After what seemed like forever for this crew, the perfect home came along in just the right location and the right price.
A relieved and joyful Steve, Nancy, and Sierra are proud owners of a beautiful 1930s brick home, with lots of light, and just the right amount of space.
Congratulations! Wishing you many wonderful times together in your lovely new home.
