Is there anything better than the classic arcade atmosphere? When you add in craft cocktails, great pub food, and private pinball pods, the answer is yes! Find it all at WedgeHead, a longtime neighborhood favorite on Sandy Boulevard.
Wedgehead features expertly curated, and frequently rotated pinball machines. No matter your skill level, there’s a machine here for you. Some favorites of mine include the Prospector (from 1977!) and Bowling Queen (1964!). There are modern machines too if that is more your style, featuring everything from Star Wars to Lord of The Rings. If you’re like me and love to learn, Wedgehead has a great blog where you can learn everything from the history of the machine, to the artwork it features, and the mechanics behind the game.
At WedgeHead you pay by the hour for unlimited play, so you can try your hand at any machine, and it doesn’t feel like such a huge loss when you inevitably lose 3 balls in a row. They also feature private pinball pods to rent for you and your party, making it an excellent option for a date night. They usually have B grade movies playing behind the bar if you need a break from the fun, and the service is always extremely friendly.
