Prairie Spirit

Portland is a very garden-friendly town. People take advantage of any amount of space they can in order to grow bee-friendly flowers, delicious veggies, and fresh herbs. Some people keep chickens in cute little coops and there are even the occasional urban beekeepers around. Entire stores are dedicated to homesteading and there is plenty of independent “prairie spirit” to go around. Neighbors share over-abundant zucchini and swap canning tips about tomato sauce and corn relish.

Sometimes though, your need a little more space. My clients recently relocated from their urban farm in North Portland to a full-on farm in Corbett. Talk about room to grow! The new place boasts incredible views and lots of light, as well as plenty of space for their farming dreams to come true.
