Travis & Esther started looking at homes over a year ago. They were super specific on location. It had to be within walking distance to Lewis Elementary School so they could walk their two girls to school. In addition, they really wanted to have 3 bedrooms all on the same floor. That way no one would feel left out, yet they could all have their own space to retreat to.
This proved much harder to find than we initially thought. We checked out a lot of options. We looked at some diamonds in the rough and even a little few places a bit outside of the school boundaries. However, each time we got close, an issue with the house or the location would come up that was just not worth compromising on.
We all stayed committed, excited and patient, keeping a close eye on the market for just the right house to become available. We finally found it, an beautiful, updated mid-century modern house with a fantastic floor plan. Three rooms all on one floor, a home office in the basement, close to the girl’
s school and even space for wine making in the garage. Let’s not forget the amazing backyard with plenty of room for the girls to have their trampoline. We can see them calling this house “home” for many years to come!
