Setting First Time Buyers up for Success

By Living Room Realty, May 28, 2019

I feel so fortunate when I have the opportunity to meet and work with first time buyers, and especially such kind hearted one’s like Heather and Brandon. I enjoy siting down to discuss the home buying process and address any concerns up front. During our first meeting we talk about the process, some potential hurdles we may encounter, and how we could could work past them before we ever set out to look at homes together.

I was introduced to Heather and Brandon from a past client who referred them to me to help with their home buying process. BTW, there is no bigger compliment and honor than to have past clients refer their friends, family and co-workers to me!

Heather and Brandon loved the idea of living in a smaller community and the connections that small town living could provide. Being close to nature was also important for these two adventurous spirits. We explored a few different communities before we found the perfect home for them in McMinnville. Less than a mile from the heart of downtown and perfectly situated in a well established little pocket of homes, they found just what they’d been hoping for. Only problem was that it was slightly over budget.

We took a chance and went in with an offer well below the list price expecting a counter from the seller only to receive an accepted offer instead. We negotiated through some tough repairs, but ultimately Heather and Brandon bought the perfect home for them well below asking price with the seller addressing a good number of repairs up front!

I couldn’t be happier for these two and know that they will be great caretakers of this home for years to come! Thanks for allowing me to be a part of your home buying process. I’m thankful to have earned your trust and your friendship!
