Sherman St Sweety

By Living Room Realty, August 27, 2018

I’ve said it many times before, but I just adore working with single clients.  First of all, I love to see people getting shit done for themselves.  Secondly, it’s almost always a collaborative and exciting experience when I’m the one they get to bounce ideas off of.  Lauren is whip smart and data oriented, so it was a joy to get to dive into the details of the process with her.  I’m happy to work with client’s in whatever way works for them, which often means taking care of the small details on my own.  Which I totally understand, they are busy with their own jobs and lives, and that’s what I’m here for!  But when I do get a client who is interested and engaged, it makes the process that much more fun.  Every time I broke something down for Lauren, and she would respond “How fascinating!” I was filled with gratitude.  “Yes!  It IS fascinating!”

Lauren was looking to buy her first home in SE Portland or Milwaukie, to be near her sister and nephew.  She wanted a place that was fairly move in ready, but still had potential for some good equity gain.  We found her a super cute, remodeled home on an oversized lot in Mill Park/Centennial, one of the last areas in Portland where a deal can still be found.  The street is tidy, convenient to Lauren’s work and her family.  The big yard is full of fruit trees and garden space, with plenty of room to improve her value.

If you’re looking for an engaged and collaborative REALTOR® to help you find your next home, give me a ring!  I love clients who ask me the hard questions.
