The days of bidding wars aren’t gone yet; not with a porch like this one has.
Katie is a darling first time home buyer, a teacher in Oregon City, and a sucker for charming old houses. When we met at this house in Milwaukie, she was waiting for me on the porch. I could tell she was already smitten. She was officially sold with the original character in the living room with soaring ceilings, a wood burning fireplace and built-ins surrounding. Katie had practically moved herself in during our viewing.
There was just one problem: she wasn’t the only buyer who loved this house. Her offer was one of 4 – but with our strategy she was ultimately the winner, and now gets to call this 102 year old bungalo home.
