The serene scenery on the Willamette River is underused and underappreciated. Over the years I have been to the McCormick Pier Condos many times. The affordable price point and flexibility of having no rental cap always made it seem like a good option for buyers, but listing a unit there during COVID-19, I now see it with new eyes. Just wow – to be able to stay safe at home and gaze at the river from your sofa – how dreamy!
Tiring of the same ‘ol dog walks near my home I decided to take a quick break at the river. Bender the Real Estate Dog, my canine co-pilot, and I zipped over to McCormick Pier, located between the Steel and Broadway Bridges, just north of the Pearl District on the west bank of the Willamette.
Amazing to think of having the little-used, riverfront green way at your back door. Imagine stepping out to grill fresh corn, followed by sipping cocoa (or whatever) around the fire pit overlooking the river – like camping, without going anywhere.
and pretended for a bit that I lived at the river. Check out 810 NW Naito Parkway F 17 1 bedroom, 1 bath condo includes parking.
