The 3rd Time Really is a Charm

By Living Room Realty, August 21, 2019

Three months ago I was delighted to hear from one of my favorite real estate families. They said although they have loved living in their first-time home, they were now a family of five and it was time to find the four bedroom family home with room for all.

Their first offer was submitted in May. Fortunately, the seller needed five days to respond which gave my clients time to re-think this property and realize it was not for them.

The second offer was submitted in June and it was a competetive situation. We were notified the day after submission that another offer had been accepted by the seller. My buyers were disappointed yet eager to press on.

The third offer was submitted in July and after 24 hours we found out the sellers had accepted the offer with just a minor adjustment to the closing and possession date. This time my clients were ecstatic as this property was just what they had been looking for all along: a bedroom for everyone, an outdoor playhouse for the kids, five fruit trees for the pie-baking mom and a gigantic shop for the industrious dad……plus a bonus 3 acre lot with roaming room for all!
