Cass and Kevin lived in their home for many years and really loved it. They ultimately needed more space and to be in a different neighborhood, but they weren’t moving because of their house. When I first saw it, I could see the updating that Cass and Kevin had done but there were still a couple of dated elements we could improve on. It seemed like a bold move at the time, but I suggested painting the cabinets throughout the property. The couple had installed a feature wall in the living room that I adored, but it clashed with their cherry cabinets.
We worked on painting the cabinets and making a couple other small improvements to the property. This home was a bit of a challenge to sell just due to the lack of a yard, although there was a ton of beautiful space on the outdoor decks. I suggested really highlighting the decks with staging, and it made a huge difference.
After just a few days on the market we ended up with a couple of fantastic offers! Because of all of the work we did before listing, this home sold above asking price. Congrats, Cass and Kevin!
